Extensive re-weaves throughout, very well and professionally executed and include: approx. 8 ft. x 13 ft. irregular area in one corner including the rocailles, the bottom of the baskets, the border, and the central cornucopiae; a 2 ft. x 2 ft. rectangular reweave at opposite corner of field; and 5 ft. x 3 ft. reweave below the central medallion including part of one cornucopia and part of the suspended gardening implements. Further, smaller, scattered re-weaves, some scattered re-stitching, some slits at color changes (not extensive). Some minor spot stains and surface dirt. The border generally in tact, with scattered reweaves. One end is mostly rewoven as mentioned above. The carpet is padded and with a new clean backing. Good color retention, very well restored for contemporary use. Of grand proportions; will enhance with some minor restorations to slits, ready to place.
