The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Of impressive size and in generally good order, presenting well overall; some scratches, light wear and minor enamel flakes; and with some touch-up to the gilding in places; the lion finial replaced, with associated re-gilding surrounding where the rests on the cover; the rim with a long narrow restuck section (approx. 8 in. long and 1 in. wide); the grisaille scenes on the rim of the vase rubbed and faded; with a series of luting horizontal slightly raised luting lines to the body in the making; the interior with some large blue-ish glaze drips in the making and a circular porcelain plug to the underside in the making.
