The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In overall good condition; some light scratches and wear throughout, consistent with age and handling; a small shallow chip (approx. ¹⁄₈ in. diameter) to the lower edge of the flat base at the back, beneath the figure's proper left sleeve, and another flat chip (³⁄₈ in. long) to the base rim just below the figure's proper left knee; scattered tiny chips to the thinnest edges and high points, including the edges of the cups and saucers, and the very tip of the teapot spout.
