The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pile ranging from good, dense, near original approx. 3/4 in. to approx. 1/2 in., now matted down in areas. Some minor, scattered re-piling (not extensive). Sides partially later overcast. Ends with warp fringes, lower end now secured with a chain stitch, upper end secured with a blanket stitch. Upper left corner with a 8 in. x 2 in. re-weave. Very supple handle, lustrous wool, good overall condition, ready to place.
