The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good appearance overall with typical scattered chips, flakes, and small losses to carving and gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole and bare wood in areas as to be expected with age. Bracket A with age cracks, most notably to underside of shelf, an old repaired break to proper left section of shelf support and to the the lowest join between C-scrolls, and a few scattered small restorations throughout as is to be expected. Bracket B with an old repaired break to the proper left upper C-scroll shelf support., and to tip of rocaille scroll in central of left side. Also with signs of small scattered old repairs primarily to carved extremities throughout, such as to the central leaf tip beneath the shelf. The backs reveal some infill and old repairs as to be expected with age. Overall an attractive model and ready to use.
