The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With general overall marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs consistent with age and use - most notably to legs, feet, and around the edges of the top. The veneers with scattered fraying, lifting, and a few small patch repairs particularly along the top borders. Some places with remnants of old glue or signs of other old repairs. A few light surface stains to tops. Table 'A' with piece of veneer border to proper right back upper corner re-attached. Nice subtle red wash to underside and backs of both tables. Minor shrinkage to tops as to be expected. Some very minor horizontal age cracks to proper right front frieze carving on table 'B'. Table 'B' with small loss where knot has popped out from shrinkage leaving a small hole on inner side of proper left front leg. Both table tops possibly previously repositioned in an effort to minimize shrinkage, evidenced by the cuts to the inner table frame and cross strut. Minor areas of dirt accumulation in crevices to both tables. Overall very sturdy, structurally sound, ready to use. Elegant model.
