Overall with some minor wear to the high points consistent with age and use, as noted with vacant cartouches, possibly previously engraved though if so engraving cleanly removed, the covers apparently unmarked, as noted the mounts on the box with maker's mark only, the box with some wear, scuffs, and scratches to the leather exterior, the interior with red velvet with silvered trim, some losses to the trim such as around the central compartment for the sugar bowl, overall with some wear, fading, and staining to the velvet, lacking a key.
