The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in good condition. With typical scattered light marks faint surface scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use. The ormolu with typical rubbing, light oxidation and some tarnish. With some minor losses to the gilding in areas and some polish residue. The marble with natural inclusions, scattered light nicks and 'nibbles' primarily to the edges.

One example lacking a small flowerhead to the reverse. Leans very slightly and may benefit from resecuring, but stable. With scattered nicks, 'nibbles' and minor surface abrasions to the marble. With some slight staining, not readily visible. With a small repair to the rope twist on one side near the base
