The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. A few minor intrinsic flaws, in the making, including scattered tiny black kiln specks, mainly to the interiors and wells; some minor overfiring to the undersides, most prominently as slightly gray areas to the underside of the saucer; and a few minor firing lines to the underside of one of the lozenge-shaped dishes, at the interior edge of the footrim.

Some light scratches and wear throughout, consistent with age and handling; one of the lozenge-shaped dishes with a shallow slice chip to its rim at the 11:30 position; the cup with a minute chip to its rim, opposite the handle; the saucer with a shallow minute chip to one of the points at its rim, at the 5 o'clock position.
