The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in very good condition and ready to hang. Seemingly with some minor movement and shifting of the material, primarily in the sky as a result of age and handling, and now with some very minor separation along some tesserae in the sky as a result. With some very minor losses to the upper left corner though mostly obscured by the frame. With a slightly raised superficial crack along the upper right side. The giltwood frame with scattered nicks, marks and surface scratches. With rubbing, flaking and some losses to the gilding revealing barewood. Not examined out of frame. Very nice overall and presents well.
