The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall with some very minor scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use, throughout with replaced composite insulators and handles, some minor rubbing to some of the marks, the gilding consistent throughout, the wooden chest with some nicks and scratches to the exterior as to be expected, with brass corners and iron handles and clasps, lacking a key, one handle off at one side, though still attached on the other side and all parts retained, the interior lined in tan velvet, with some wear, staining, fading, and possible minor water damage, possibly lacking lining to the cover, with two labels to the interior, overall good condition.
