The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With age and construction cracks as expected with age and use. One chair with a reinforced break to the back of the seat rail. Another chair with a crack/split to the back seat rail and some associated losses (recommend securing). Some old worm damage to underside (now inactive). Carving with some abrasions and minor losses. gesso with cracks, some losses and some flaking. Regilt. The gilding with some losses, rubbing and surface dirt; most rubbing with exposed bare wood and bole to the terminals of the armrest. The upholstery in overall good condition with some marks and abrasions to the backs. Present well.
