Several of the branches with restoration and subsequent overpaint, others with some cracks along the seam and may require further stabilization. The door to the compartment on reverse of the of bear on umbrella stand loose. The upper leaf-form tray on torchere later associated, and with losses to two leaf tips; does not tightly screw into the bear's paw. With a slight buildup of surface dirt and may benefit from light cleaning. The torchere measures 381⁄2 in. (98 cm.) high, 131⁄4 in. (34 cm.) wide, 141⁄4 in. (36 cm.) deep.
