The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall in good condition. The marble with natural inclusions, some light surface wear including some minor nicks and minute 'nibbles' to edges. With a very light buildup of surface dirt. The ormolu with typical rubbing and oxidation. One lacking a finial, the other probably replaced. As stated, differing slightly in size. Please note Christie's does not guarantee the working order of lighting.
The other example measures: 281⁄2 in. high, lacking finial, 111⁄2 in. wide
