The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The clock in overall very good condition and ready to place. Very light rubbing to the ormolu at high points, for example on the trophy masks. One floral wreath slightly loose on the left side. One putto lacking a section of laurel, evidenced by a vacant hole on the torso. The other putto possibly lacking a decorative element from the left hand. The plate to the underside lacking some hardware, though remains secured in place with the feet. Very minor wear and minute 'nibbles' to the lapis along the edges of the obelisk.
