The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition and ready to place. With the expected light nicks, faint scuffs and dings to edges, as to be expected with age and use. With some very scattered deeper abrasions, primarily to arms and seat rail, as to be expected. With some slight seperation at joins. The seat backs reinforced and with some associated glue residue. The reverse of settee with sun fading. With some slightly larger dings and small losses to extreme edges. The underside with remnants of paper label. With later corner blocks and lacking central stretcher. The upholstery in well-mainted condition with light areas of wear and some sun fading. With chalk inscription 6605.
