Overall with nicks, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The veneers with very minor lifting, losses and re-stabilizations, as to be expected. Some scattered overpainting and patch repairs to the veneers, particularly on the back left side.
The ormolu with some minor surface scratches, tarnish, verdigris, and casting flaws, as to be expected. Mounts re-gilt. Some replacements to rosettes. The majority of rosettes affixed with spikes and unable to remove for inspection, two on the reverse now affixed with screws, wich are apparently original.
