The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In good, stable condition and ready to place. With a polished surface throughout. The mounts apparently retaining their originally mercury gilding and in good condition. The escutcheon probably replaced. With some rubbing and spotting to the gilding, particular to the raised areas, as to be expected with age. The veneers with scattered infill and repairs, and vertical shrinkage cracks, particularly to the sides, all consistent and expected with age. The later marble top with natural inclusions and scattered areas of infill. One corner with an old break, now off, but retained. WITH ONE KEY.
