The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Each with surface wear and with scattered small imperfections in the making. One vase slightly taller than the other. Both restored at the rim area and at the base. One with a large restored U-shaped crack stemming from the rim and extending 3⁄4 down the body. The other vase with several long lines that have been restored emanating from the mouth and extending 1⁄4 down the body. Each mounted, but not drilled as lamps. The porcelain not examined out of the mount. Please note that Christie's does not guarantee the working order of lighting.
