The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The dishes with frits and nicks to the rim. One with a small loss to the rim at 4 o'clock. Both with some scattered kiln frit. The reverse rims with some glaze gaps and firing flaws. Both examined under ultraviolet light.
The bowl with an approximate 2 in. rim hairline. The reverse rim with a 1⁄8 in. firing flaw. The foot rim with kiln frit and encrustation. Examined under ultraviolet light.
