The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good decorative condition and ready to hang. With some scattered light nicks, marks and scratches. With some rubbing, falking and losses to the gilt decoration, revealing white ground in areas. Some areas of the gilding purposefully and evenly distressed. The mirror plate with some foxing, primarily to the outer edges. With some scattered losses and rubbing to the carved decoration. The cresting on one with a repaired break. With some scattered small repairs and reinforcements to delicate areas of the carving.
