The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In overall good, stable, decorative condition and ready to place. With the expected scattered nicks and faint scratches. The gilt decoration with some lifting, flaking and small scattered losses, and purposefully distressed in areas, revealing gesso ground. Retains a bright tone overall. The marble tops with some natural inclusions and very few scattered nicks and 'nibbles' to edges.
