The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With general overall marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs consistent with age and use. The ormolu and electroplating with some overall surface scratches, tarnish, verdigris and rubbing, as to be expected. Each with significant losses to the electroplating overall. Discoloration to the electroplating. Possibly later plated and lacquered, areas of which are now flaking for example on the putti backs. Some rusting to the screws. Signs of surface dirt, most notably to the crevices.
