The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall with nicks, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. With rubbing, wear, cracquelure and small losses to the decoration. As noted in cataloguing, there are extensive restorations to the lacquered decoration. With typical signs of old wood worm, now inactive. Scattered losses to the carving and separation to the joins, as to be exected. Several of the backboards replaced and reinforced.
The superstructure with later supports to the base for securing. One side drawer engraved NF.

The drawers variously marked with blue ink script, L146 or F3121M. The base with metal supports to the underside.
