The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good decorative condition and ready to place. The marble with natural inclusions and some 'nibbles' to edges. Both temples loose at the capitals and would benefit from further re-securing. The temple of Castor and Pollux with a shallow surface chip to one corner of the black marble base, and some a small loss to the corner of one capital. The temple of Vespasian with some minor chips to edges of base. Trajan's Column with some minor chips to edges of base and to corners of plinth and upper cap supporting figure, the patinated bronze figure with some minor rubbing and wear to the high points, staff bent and possibly lacking finial.
