The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable minor dents marks and scratches and shrinkage cracks due to age and use.
The crest rail slightly loose.
Chips, scuffing and minor losses to the carving throughout.
The caned seat in good condition.
Structurally secure. An attractive and small-sized sofa of typical Ceylonese form.
One associated squab cushion, a bolster and two square scatter cushions.
