The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In overall good decorative order, with some rubbing and wear to the enamels and gilding as to be expected with use.
The soup-tureens - Both tureens with star-shaped hairline cracks which have been stapled to prevent further damage. One example with a section around one handle broken and stapled together Both covers with hairline cracks that have been stapled to prevent further damage, and one finial broken and reattached with pins and an associated chip to one edge with some overpainting. The stands in good order.
The meat-plate - With a large star-shaped hairline crack which has been stapled to prevent further damage and with some associated chips and one larger chip to the footrim, and losses and some small areas of infill and staining.
The vegetable-tureens - One tureen broken and stapled together to prevent further damage, and with some associated hairline cracks. The same tureen with a small chip to the footrim and a filled chip to the rim. Two of the other tureens with some small hairline cracks, and the last in good order. One cover with a large hairline crack, and the finial broken through and reattached with a pin and sprayed to conceal some of the damage. The remaining covers in good order.
The sauce-tureens - One tureen broken through and stapled to prevent further damage with an associated chip with some signs of infill. A further small section aprox. 2.5 cm long also broken through and stapled. The other tureen in good order. Both covers broken through and stapled to prevent further damage. One stand with a large hairline crack stapled to prevent further damage, and the other in good order.
The two-handled tray - In good order.
The oval serving-dishes - One with a large chip to the foot rim and a small hairline crack to the rim with a small associated chip to the underside. The others in good order.
The soup-plates - One with a small hairline crack to the underside. The others in good order.
The starter-plates - One example with a hairline crack to the rim. Four examples with small rim-chips. Three examples with small hairline cracks and some rim chips. the others in good order.
The dinner-plates - Eight examples with small hairline cracks. Three examples with small chips to the rim or footrim, and one example with a small chip to the footrim and a small hairline crack. The others in good order.
