The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The colours faded overall, particularly to the lighter tones.
As stated in the catalogue, the upper and lower foliate borders now folded (the upper section by approx. 15 in., the lower section by approx. 28 in.).
There are some loose threads and small areas of re-weaving throughout. Re-weaving on the lower foliate edge, where the border has been folded.
Backed with beige linen, with a velcro strip for attachment to wall.
