The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This lantern is in overall very good and ready to place condition.
The ormolu with some traces of tarnish to the crevices, as to be expected.
The molded glass with a few natural inclusions. The lower section with small shallow chip, approx 1⁄4 in. diameter. The interior with traces of cleaning residue.
Electrical components appear to be complete but must be reconditioned prior to use, regardless of whether the lot is shown lit or in working condition in the catalogue. We strongly advise that the item is reconditioned by an appropriately qualified electrician. The wires to this lantern have been cut and will require replacing.
