This table is closely related to the table stands for a pair of coffers in the Wallace Collection which are Boulle revival pieces dating to the French Restoration period, from circa 1820 (see P.J.Hughes, The Wallace Collection Catalogue of Furniture II, London, 1996, no.146 (F47-8), pp.684-690.
