The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Marks clear. The engraved cartouche slightly worn, the crest clear.
Traces of lacquer in places. Some scratching on centre caused by excessive cleaning; outline of cartouche visible on the underside of the basket.
Light wear on high points. Small nicks on the rim. Seam line visible on the centre of the swing handle; crest possibly erased.
Good gauge.
