The gilding with flaking and rubbing throughout, revealing the red bole layer beneath. Regilt as stated in the cataloguing.
The plate with extensive foxing but apparently original.
The backboard replaced.
5089 inscribed in blue chalk to reverse.
Historic repairs and reattachments to the carved borders.
Structurally secure and ready to hang.
