The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Light wear on high points consistent with age and use.
Very fin hariline cracks in The Finding of Moses panel with small section missing less than 2 mm.
Wear to gilding on ring handle.
Wear to the leather case; the red velvet liner probably a later replacement and with some stains around the collar.
Very good gauge.
