Overall with some marks, scratches and small losses as to be expected with age and use. In country house condition. The figured mahogany tray top with some rings and water marks throughout, two shrinkage cracks, approx. 18 in. and 7 in. long each have been closed. with a perished thin shellac varnish suggesting it may have been somewhere slightly damp for a time. To one long side a small portion of carving, to a scroll is lacking. Repaired breaks to two legs at the top, only visible from underneath. Some blocks and cross brace underneath the top, the frieze with a framed support underneath, fruitwood rails with a pale wash.
