The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition.
There are the inevitable minor nicks, marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
Some losses to the ripple mouldings, such as to the front left and right legs. Some of the ripple moulding re-attached with glue.
Some minor losses to the tortoiseshell veneers, such as to the upper part of architectural central section, around keyholes and to the corners of various drawers. Some veneers with typical hairline cracks.
With later backboards.
The interior and drawers variously inscribed with numbers in pencil.
Stand:The undertier platform with a large horizontal split running from side to side.
Traces of old woodworm, now apparently inactive.
Highly decorative, structurally stable and ready to place.
