The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The lustre of this dish is very bright and fresh. The rim has suffered some chipping and losses and is largely made up replacement with overpainting to match the original border where it remains visible between 6 and 8 o'clock. This replacement material has discoloured slightly to the reverse. Some minor losses to this replacement at 10 o'clock. Despite this though, the dish is still highly decorative and presents very well overall. The centre with slight wear and a small minor loss to the glaze adjacent to the flag of the Lamb of God. In addition there is a slight dirt-filled crack from the rim at one o'clock to the well approx. 6 cm long.
