With white enamel Arabic dial signed 'A PARIS', the drum case surmounted by an eagle and flanked by lions with ribbon-tied berried leaf apron, with two Ionic pillaster supports applied with foliate scrolls and rosettes and flanked by flaming urns, the shaped moulded base centred by a war trophy flanked by the figures of Minerva (Strenght) and Justice, with beeded edge and panelled frieze applied with pierced foliate plaques, the movement numbered '134690'

A virtually identical clock with a movement by Robinet and displaying phase of the moon in the dial, is in the Musée des Arts Decoratifs, Paris, illustrated, Tardy, French Clocks, 5th ed., 1981, p. 107.
