The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
CASE:
In good overall condition.
With the inevitable minor nicks, marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
The gilding slightly rubbed at highpoints and with minor areas of tarnish.
One small pierced hole to one side of the case, and another below the dial from previous mounts which are now lacking.
The back with a printed red Sotheby's New York label inscribed '364'.
DIAL: Generally clean and bright. There are some small chipped losses to the enamel.
MOVEMENT: Overall clean. Signed 'Mynuel A Paris'.
