The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The beakers - Minor rubbing and wear to the gilding throughout. Both beakers with one handle broken through and restored with some traces of old glue and regilding to strapwork nearby. One beaker with the second handle cracked through at the lower terminal, restored and re-gilt with traces of old glue. The same beaker with a restored and re-gilt chip to the rim, and then sprayed with white lacquer.

The teabowl and saucer - Minor rubbing to the gilding throughout. Two chips to the footrim of the saucer. One minute chip to the footrim of the teabowl.
