Dottore Boloardo and Columbine (?) on the beaker illustrated on the left are derived from Jeaurat's engraving 'Pierrot Content' after Watteau (see p. 67), and Scaramouche and Columbine on the other beaker are derived from le Bas's engraving 'La Game d'Amour' or 'Amoris Diagramma Musicum' after Watteau (see p. 67).
