The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches and shrinkage cracks due to age and use.
One bookcase has losses to the veneer, particularly on the side to the right above the frieze drawer, to the banding on the left of the frieze drawer and to the banding above the back left leg.
There are white paint marks to the right side and the right silk panel of the lower section.
The escutcheon is missing.
There are shrinkage cracks on the satinwood sides.
There are stains (removable?) on the open shelves.
The other bookcase is missing two legs on the left front and back (provided).
There are scattered white paint marks to the right of the lower section and the silk of the oval panel is frayed.
There is a severe loss above the (missing) legs on the left hand side.
There is a large shrinkage crack to the back of the open shelves.
