The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In very good overall condition.
There are the inevitable minor nicks, marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
As stated in the catalogue, the ormolu sections have been regilt. There is some minor rubbing and tarnish to the gilding which is bright and consistent throughout.
The marble bodies with natural flaws and inclusions, and some very minor surface scratches and minute chips to the edges.
Highly decorative, structurally stable and ready to place.
