The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Example with bowman and dog with left-hand swan handle beak chipped and tip lacking. Some re-gilding and restoration to handles. Some patches of overpainting to central scene.
The other example with some overpainting and clear lacquer applied to central scene, presumably to conceal flaking or possibly some hairline cracks.
Overall some slight wear to gilding and enamels, some surface scratching and occasional flake.
