The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This set of chairs is in good overall condition.
There are the inevitable scratches, marks and dents consistent with age and use.
Minor denting to the carved turning on the front legs of some chairs.
Some chairs show evidence of woodworm under the seats, now apparently inactive.
Chair A with repairs to left and right arms. Cracks to cresting rail.
Chair B with front right corner brace. Screwed repair through backrail.
Chair C with screwed repair to backrail. Repaired breaks to top of both back uprights.
Chair F with two replaced corner braces. Later screw fixings to back uprights.
Chair I with frontrail replaced, 3 corner braces replaced. Screw repair to backrail.
Chair J with replaced 8 in. to top left upright and screw repairs to backrail.
Chairs G and E with very minor differences. These are possibly associated chairs when compared with the other chairs.
