The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Marks clear and with crossed out 17th century hallmarks
Some scratching and pitting consistent with age and use, especially on the body with some very small pin dents. Excess soldering on underside. hammering marks in gutter of the cover. Some filling marks on the scroll handle with some traces of excess soldering.
Good gauge.
