    oval box, the cover, sides and base set with panels of finely engine-turned horizontal reeding chased and engraved with foliage and scrolls, the cover centred by an octagonal reserve chased in four-colour gold on a sablé ground with a sitting dog, doves, and trophies of love within foliage before a classical urn, within a husk and grain frame, with vari-colour gold leaf borders, the side pilasters with chased vari-colour gold vases
