The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

As stated in the catalogue, there are some losses and restorations.
The three escutcheons to the drawers are later.
There is some fading to the veneers and discolouration to the tambour door.
Some minor losses to veneers with associated infill repairs.
Some lifting to the veneers, particularly to the top. The top with some marks and white paint traces, which could be cleaned off.
The top of the lower section with two shrinkage cracks to each side.
Backboard to upper section replaced.
