The website illustrations are accurate. Good overall condition. There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches, shrinkage cracks and rubbing consistent with age and use. There are some restorations to the back with reinforcement rails. Veneer: There are some minor liftings to the brass inlaid. There are some minor shrinkage cracks especially to the right-side panel. With restoration with 'gomme-laque' paste filling and with mahogany especially to the side panels. There are some traces of white cleaning product especially to brass inlaid decor throughout. There are some minor white stains especially to the left-side panel. Ormolu mounts: There are some minor dents, rubbing and some signs of tarnishing. The gilding is later. There are some minor casting flaws especially to the right-side allegorical figure. Marble : There are the inevitable scratches and chips to the edges. Otherwise, very elegant model.
