The commode :
There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use.
As stated in the catalogue, the brass ornaments and a part of the decor are later.
There are some minor losses to the lacquer, revealing the white gesso and the bare wood underneath.
There are some restorations with paint and 'gomme-laque' paste filling.
There is a restoration to the upper left edge of both drawers.
There are some minor cracks to the lacquer as expected.
There are some very minor losses to the carving, especially to the feet, as expected, and to the upper right edge of the upper drawer.
There are some shrinkage cracks inside the drawers.
Structurally sound.

The marble top :
There are the inevitable dents, marks and chips to the marble top.
There is an important chip to the right part of the table top and some scratches, especially one to the front right part.
