The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good overall condition.
There are the inevitable dents, marks, cracks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use.
The structure has been reinforced with wooden blocks.
There are several losses to the gilding, especially to the upper part, the edges and to the left front foot, revealing the white gesso, the red bole and the bare wood underneath.
There are several cracks to the gilding, as expected, especially one horizontal crack to the central acanthus leaf.
There are some minor scuff marks and dents to the marble top.
Structurally sound.
